Dear Families,

The health and wellbeing of our patients and their families is our #1 priority at Phoenix Children’s Pediatrics - Cottonwood. We want to share a few updates with you about what you can expect from our office over the next few months.

Provider Updates

Dr. Wendy Tuccille is currently on a leave of absence. She is doing well, and we look forward to welcoming her back to the office in August. In the meantime, Dr. Dani Parrott and Amy Heinrich, PNP-BC, a pediatric nurse practitioner, are continuing to care for patients. Several other Phoenix Children’s Pediatrics providers will also be seeing patients at our Cottonwood clinic to provide additional support in the coming months.

We are excited to announce that Dr. Kate Hausotter will join our office in August. Dr. Hausotter will be accepting new patients as our office continues to grow.

Sick Child Check

As a result of the spike in acute illness in the community, we are receiving a higher-than-typical volume of sick appointment requests. We offer same-day sick appointments, but if those appointments become filled, the patient’s name will be placed on our call list to be scheduled as soon as an appointment time becomes available.

Urgent Needs

Our office staff and after-hours call service are available for urgent needs. After-hours calls to our main phone number — (928) 649-3003 — will connect you to nurses who can assist you and/or direct your call to our providers. If you have an emergency, please call 911.

Well-Child Checks and Immunizations

If your child is due for a well-child check or requires immunizations, please call our office, as appointment times are filling up quickly.
